Eligibility
Any public or private organization of any size located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania may apply.
Intent to Apply
Applicant selects an application level, completes an " Intent to Apply" form and submits a $150 non-refundable fee. To see a complete description of applicant requirements, instructions, and timeline, please download a copy of our Applicant Instructions. Note: KAPE will use the 2009-2010 version of the Baldrige Criteria for the 2010 award cycle. Please download the appropriate Criteria from the Downloads & Forms Page.

Applicant completes and submits application and fee per the following table:

Number of Awards
Any number of organizations may receive Recognition or Excellence Awards in each year. Organizations will be judged within their respective sectors.
Confidentiality
All applications will be treated as confidential. Applicants are not expected to provide or reveal proprietary information. Examiners and Judges will also act under a strict Code of Ethics. Examiners will be assigned in a way to avoid conflicts of interest.
